I called almost 2 weeks ago for a quote on replacing a lift pump on a Powerstroke and was told it would go to the diesel advisor and he would get back with me and I never heard a thing. Called again a week later and was told I would hear something by the end of the day or first thing Monday (today) and have still not heard anything back.
Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize that you did not receive the follow-up you were expecting. Regardless of the circumstances, we should have communicated with you, and we understand your frustration. After reviewing your request, we found that your 1994 F-250 has previously had the lift pump replaced with an aftermarket unit. Because we didn't know which pump or plumbing configuration was currently installed—and you weren't certain either—we couldn't accurately quote the parts or labor without first identifying what was on the truck. There are several different lift pump setups and fitting configurations that can affect both the parts required and the installation time. While we should have done a better job communicating that to you, our goal is always to provide accurate estimates rather than risk quoting a price that could be incorrect. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and we'll use your feedback to improve our communication going forward. If you're still looking to have the repair completed, we'd be happy to inspect the truck, identify the existing setup, and provide you with an accurate estimate.
